A story that will make you believe in unlove. 

Unlove? Really? Sounds like some regular betrayal of a teenager who decides to stay single forever? Nah! It's worse than a regular heartbreak or betrayal, or dishonesty. 

It's more like someone getting too close to your heart, and when you start trusting that person, they eat your love and trust up!

This is a story of Megha. 

Megha was a sweet girl who was 24 years old. She had just started her dream corporate job after graduating. She was smart, beautiful, and had a loving and supportive family. You can say she had everything that a girl could ever want. 

Megha had a boyfriend, Rakesh. They have been dating since they were both 15 years old. They had a successful 9 years of a relationship. Both were comfortable and enjoyed every moment they shared together. They have been each other's pillar for a long period of time now. They were so comfortable and trusted each other that they were okay to meet once in two months. They were okay to be in a long-distance relationship. 

Megha belonged to a rich family. However, the family still believed in hard work, self-made, and honest words. They always taught Megha to be empathetic, honest, hard-working, and righteous. 

Rakesh was opposite Megha. He was a rich guy; however, he believed in showing off, power, and believed that he could walk over anything or anyone. He was spoiled. 

Megha's and Rakesh's natures always clashed with each other in the worst manner. They always fought over an empathetic situation. However, they believed that love and respect for each other can make the relationship work.

As I mentioned earlier, Megha had just started a normal corporate job and was working very hard. In a short span of time, she grabbed a promotion and an increment because of her hard work and the way she worked. Her professionalism was unmatched at her job. 

Rakesh was jobless and was just interning with his father at work. His father was a businessman and well-known for his witty nature. Rakesh used to always laugh at Megha's salary and the fact that a rich girl was working at an ordinary job. 

Megha's world crashed when her father passed away. She alone suffered and started managing his legacy. Her family business was now handled by all the cousins, including Megha. She needed Rakesh the most in this emotional journey. However, Rakesh, being immature, did not show up when she needed him the most. She soon started realising that this was the wrong match she had chosen for herself. She somehow knew that if this turned into a marriage would be disastrous. However, she continued because of her family's reputation and always thought that trust and respect could overcome any hurdles they may face.

But the question that popped into her mind now was - was there empathy and love anymore in this relationship? 

Soon their once-in-two-months meeting turned into once in once-in-six-months meeting. Megha tried to ask Rakesh for a reason. However, he said he wanted to take over his father's business as he's getting old. She believed him, and this continued for the next 2 years. 

Things started falling apart from the time when Megha's and Rakesh's common friend was getting married. Rakesh's father had also joined the function. Rakesh's father, Heresh, asked Megha about her salary and laughed in front of her friends. She felt humiliated. 

When she returned home, she told her mother about this humiliation. Her mother felt bad and weird, as how can a man who has done hard work and made a business so successful mock her daughter in front of strangers? This was ridiculous. However, she asked Megha to let this go and focus on her. career for now. 

Megha, tough did not stop. She called Rakesh immediately and told him how she felt. However, instead of doing something about this, he laughed and said "he was joking" because your monthly income is his hourly income. She felt very bad and low about this incident. She was not happy about this. 

But the question that popped into her mind now was - was there any respect left in this relationship? 

She felt like breaking up but.......

What stopped Megha from breaking this relationship? What's the inside story? To know more, stay tuned.
