If you don't remember and are new to this story, please read my old blog here.
Let's begin this miracle story now.
So Sahil apologized. Yes, you read it right. He truly spoke to me and explained to me how and why that happened. We cleared out our misunderstandings.
Trust me, this isn't a paid act and neither did he read this blog. Even if he did, he would laugh it out.
But this act of his really surprised me. I was shocked and did not expect it from him.
Let me give you a little background of the story.
Basically, Sahil and I became good friends at work. And we would often discuss the ideas and opportunities to ace at our work. We were basically a team.
We were even planning to meet one day with one of our ordinary friends, but that didn't work.
He has now left the organization. Yes, I am late to write this blog, but yes, he served his notice period and left work.
Before leaving the organization, he gives me a call and apologizes. We discussed it and I gave him my POV, and he gave me his. I understood where he came from that day, and he understood my point of view when discussing the stuff.
So, basically, he had exams and serving the notice and planning out his future was also on his mind. He was going through some emotional shifts during that period and this came up!
I forgave him because he is very young to me and, secondly, he understood his mistake. I guess all it takes is some time to realize, and it totally makes sense to me to allow another person some space when such things happen.
This can happen to anyone, right? I mean, as human beings, we have different perspectives and behavior. We cannot expect each day to serve us some good meal. There will be struggles and, as a person who works and also has a personal life, such things are very natural to happen and can happen to anyone, right? What do you think?
So I forgave him and we spoke it out. Apologized to each other and now though he has left the firm, I am still in touch with him. We speak several times and ask each other. He has got a new job now. I wish him luck!
But, my question to you is, is such behavior good at work? What would you have done if you were Sahil? Would you let your personal thoughts hurt someone at work or, if you were me, would you have let anybody walk over you? How would you have taken things?
I am looking forward to your comments and POVs.
I know I have posted this super late. Lately I have been busy. And let's just now agree and that when you have work and passion, you tend to incline more towards your work because that pays you well. Hain na?
But hey come on, let me know what you felt about this one. And let us now not hate Sahil! Hehe!
Thanks for reading! 😁
